Today's photo is one I took of guitar musician,Trace Bundy. I went to see him live for an event, a benefit for Agros Internationaland World Relief. His affection for music and to help people can really be felt by everyone who was there... simply, pure rawness... pure genius. I didn't have the best camera to capture the best photo when I was there but I still hope you all enjoy this photo as much as I do. And a treat here *^_^* : Trace Bundy with Sungha Jung playing "Canon" on acoustic guitar.
Nora: I know that you don't think that this is the best photo, but I actually think that it is superb. It is intense and moody. Technical perfection does not always make for the best photo . . . the emotion conveyed by the photo makes the photo successful. No?
Dearist Photodiarist and Buenos Aires : I'm so glad to hear that you both felt something from this photo. You're right, for us, photography is an art that shows insight into our subject's emotions and even our own emotions...ahhh... sometimes i forget this most important thing so thank you for your notes... :)
The world can be simple if you want it to be! Welcome to "Simple Takes". I'm Nora. With this blog, I hope to share with you my stories and journey through my photo images, updates of my shows and my works, my favorite things that I encounter, and just life's little things that make me smile and hopefully will make you smile. While my focus is on photography, I hope to be able to work on illustrating again so check back to see if that happens! :)
